What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona

When my now boyfriend and his wife split they were not able to take care of there children so they gave the grandmother custody.
The state pays her money for every child every month.
But now two of the children no longer live with her. One could not stand her so moved out and and she kicked out one of the other (They both live with my boyfriend and I) He wants custody back and I figure we have to get a attorney to do that but I dont think it is right that the state is giving her money to take care of the children when she does not have them.. What can we do about that?
She is one of those people that dont care about the children, she in only in it for the money and it is not fair for the children.

Your boyfriend can go back to court and file for custody. Right now the grandma has custody and at anytime can go and pick up the kids and boyfriend would have to hand them over. How does she get money? Were the kids given to grandma voluntarily? Or was CPS involved? You have no rights and you can't do anything, just so know.

Another question, How old are the children?

Thank you for the answer.
Yes Cps was involved because when they split there was a big arguement someone called the police and when they showed the mother had drugs and was charged.
the 2 that are at my house are 17 and 15.
I just dont think she should be getting money
Honestly to me if she did not get money she would not even speak to the kids, she does not spend any of the money on them. my boyfriend buys there clothing exc

Ok there is a BIG difference between your boyfriend giving custody to grandma and CPS placing the children with grandma. Please have your boyfriend come on here so he can give the specifics on what happened.
