What is the name of your state? Nevada

I know this couple (husband and wife) who work at the same internet company as my fiance does, we never became close friends, all of a sudden they stop talking to my fiance , and the now 2 months later I get a instant message on my livehelp on my website saying that the FBI is looking after me because apperently I installed virus and hacked there home computer. I also am told that the COPS and FBI will raid my house, what I dont get is I have never done anything like this nor would I ever even try to learn how to attempt to do such a thing.
Do I need to call the police about this matter, or just let it ride because this is total BS that came literally out of nowhere.

Regards

Take a breath and think about it for a minute. If you were being investigated by the FBI, do you really think an instant message is how you'd find out about it?

That is what I thought, but I have to reassure myself. They now have told every other employee at my fiances work about this, which now we have people calling us up to ask whats going on. Is there anything I can even do or do I just have to let them keep talking ect.

Thanks :)

Depends on what they are saying

Obviously you didn't do anything, so don't worry about it. They could have gotten a virus from you by accident or one of your e-mails was spoofed, or they just made it all up for some stupid reason, whatever it is.

If they are creating problems for you or your fiance, then you could always press harrassment charges on them. Since they all work for the same company, this would be something your fiance should go talk to her HR representative about.
