I live in Baltimore, MD and have sole custody of my 3 minor children. My ex-husband has agreed to give up his parental rights to themn so that I can appoint someone other than him as their legal guardian upon my death. He is also agreeing to do this so that my fiance' can adopt the children once we are married. We aren't getting married for about 2 years though and I want the first part done now. Can we do this in Maryland?
