I'm a 29 year old mother of threee who has just recently been sent through a seperation. My husband of 9 months has moved his new girlfriend into my home. I left the house on 6-7-01 and the new girlfriend moved in 2 weeks later. My husband was very abusive(physically, sexually, and mentally)to me and my children for 5 1/2 years. Like most women who stay I thought I loved him and that I could change him.Boy, was I wrong! My huisband has since filed a PFA against me stating that he is afraid for his life from me. (I was the one on more than one occasion with a mossburg to the head) Now he is trying to file a no-fault divorce and he says I'm getting nothing. I have put a lot of money into the household over the 2 years that we've had the house but everything is in his name.(another way he controlled everything) My quetion is he has filed my daughter on his tax return for 4 years and is there anyway I can get child support for her? Another question is am I entitled to any support for myself considering he has the house and I have been forced to live with my mother? I have no car since I left and since all of this stuff has happened I've been unable to work because of stress. Who is right? Please help if you can. Thank You

Did you report any of the abuse to the police? What happened at the PFA hearing?

Bottom line, this is obviously a nasty person and you are going to need an attorney or you are seriously going to get screwed.
