Greetings,
My soon to be X in TX has decided that mediation and a friendly divorce is not for him. He has threatened that I don't want him for an enemy. Well, I'm beginning to believe him. I am Pro Se, and he has the attorney.
Through certified mail I received Petitioner’s Request for Admissions, Interrogatories to Respondent, Request for Disclosure, Request for Production and Inspection of Documents. These are in the same format as the temporary orders with case number, case, District Court number etc. His attorney has signed each request and has directed in each request that my response be sent to his office.
My questions are:
1. What questions do I have to answer. From the questions, it appears that he is trying to prove unfit mother, adultery, and anything else that he can think of. Can I not answer them and let them deal with that?
2. Do I have the right as Respondent to ask the same questions and request the same information?
3. When I send this to his lawyer will he file it with the court, or do I need to send a copy of all this to the court?
4. Since there is no court stamp on any of the requests, can I ignore them until the court orders me to answer them?
5. With Temp Orders there was an order for inventory, I sent mine but have yet to see his.
Thank you for your time, advice, and comments.
