Got a first ticket for speeding 82 mph on 70 mph road. I have two options on ticket.
1. admit or no contest
2. I deny the violation.
Which option should I choose?

Actually I was going 82 mph on 70 mph. Cop pulled over me. He said I was going 82 mph on 45 mph there was a construction zone of 45 mph. but I'm 99 percent sure that I was going 50 -55 mph on work zone area. He took my license and came back after 15 min and said I'm taking out the work zone this is the least I can do and gave me the ticket. So What should I do now? I live in MN and got ticket in Indiana
Which is the best option?

Thanks

The best option is to take traffic school if you are eligible. That protects your insurance rates.

However, if you already have a bad driving record you might as well just pay the fine and whatever happens happens.

Maybe you should fix your driving habits and think about the consequences before you put the pedal to the metal.

Or, another option is to pay a lawyer a thousand or two and see if he can get you out of it.

Did he write you up for 12 over or 22 over? The fine breaks at 15 over. Since Minnesnota doesn't have a point system, it pretty much comes down to whether you want to exert the effort to appearin in Indiana for a violation which you appear to have no defense for.

He wrote me up for over speeding 12. Actually I'm worrying about the insurance for next 3 years.
So is it better to pay the fine?

Better? Of course not.

But I don't see you having much choice.

You can plead not guilty and go to court but you are likely to be convicted of something.

And it still goes to your insurance company for a likely rate increase. Some insurance companies might forgive the first ticket. No guarantees. You'll just have to wait for your renewal to find out.
