two days ago i was at a very large food chain restaurant. there was a wooden plaque hanging on the wall holding the bibs for the babies, and i was standing under it waiting for my food with my boyfriend. the plaque fell off the wall and hit me in the head and a bump immediately formed. my boyfriend said that they were lazy with the craftmanship and simply nailed it into the dry wall. he tried to talk to the manager however she spoke little to no english and did not understand what he was trying to say, so he asked for the head office's phone number and we left. yesterday i went to the doctor and i have a concussion and i was prescribed pain medication. our immediate reaction was to call the head office and demand compensation because i am in university and i really cannot afford feeling so dizzy and disoriented. however after talking to my mom she thinks we should contact a lawyer and just let them handle it. so what do you think? do i even have something? should we talk to the company or let the lawyer do it? i have documented everything just in case, i took pictures of the wall and photo copied my prescription before i had it filled.

You did not hit the law suit lotto. Save your receipts from the doctor's office and say thank you when they reimburse you for that plus an additional hundy in gift certificates for the inconvenience.

Mums and being in university. Why do so many want to delete the only question posed?

Tranq, maybe you can point the OP in Peter's direction. Maybe the OP has a shot at the law-suit lotto.

I swear, it must be the moon. Tranq, can you please make my funsucker a double?

An hour and a half and another half to get home. Then, doubles for everyone.

See now I think this happened in Egypt. Anyone who ever listened to the Jerky Boys would recognize Ali Kmal, the Egyptian Magician.

I love cards. It s sad so many today don't want to play. (Or are intimidated by the fact I know there is only one spade, other than mine, left.) I don't know "Irish" poker. Explain.
