What is the name of your state? Ohio--Belmont County
About six years ago, I applied for food stamps through my counties job and family services while I was employed--I now have an overpayment of $452.00. I have recently come into some financial difficulties which has forced me to stay with relatives. My question is:

Can my local job and family services deny my family the PRC program (which would help us to move now). I have talked to them and they say I am not eligible because of the overpayment. I am currently getting food stamps and a medical card. My fiance is the only one employed at this time and he has only been working for two months and we could really use the help.

I even called the Director at the main office and still get no response.
Thank you for any info that might help us.
