Have you taken the time to read my reply to your post??? If you need to vent on people, I suggest finding another place. You are dealing with real people in real life with problems that really bother them. Take the time to be the Grandmotherly type and try to symathize, some things aren't easy to talk about in society and these boards can really help people in thier time of need.

Yes I read your emotionally-charged response. This site is for questions and answers. You asked some questions, and I gave you some answers. You didn't like the answers, so you chose to think I was attacking you.

It's no wonder most attorneys don't bother to respond to the questions on this particular forum any longer.

1. She's not going to lose her child because she was at a bar drinking.
2. You cannot force her to have an amnio test to determine paternity.
3. If you could, and your husband was proven to be the father, you could not automatically take her child.

Looks like answers to me..

Having read your post, the only issue I see you having is her drinking at the bar.. It seem that the real issue is the thought of paying for a child over the next 18 years. Worse, the child is disabled in some way and your husband pays a lot of money for a long time..

Thanks, dear!

Thought for a couple of days that I must have inadvertently responded in some foreign tongue.

If the chip ever falls off this gal's shoulder, there'll be another sinkhole in our great state!
