Sorry to say, with the exception of the physical assault on your son, this is a personal issue and not really a legal one.

You can't legally force a grandmother to be fair in pricing on an old junker - not even to her grandkid. And you definitely can't force common sense upon someone - especially on a kid with ADHD whose entire life thrives on impulsivity.

Call the police regarding the assault.

As for the car, that's a good learning experience, actually. While the price was pretty steep, perhaps the lesson was about him learning how to take care of a car. With so many issues, he might learn a thing or two about car repairs, maybe even how to do the work himself. Maybe that was the point all along.

Please note, this site does not advocate recommending illegal acts. It appears the contract you refer to has two weaknesses. 1st. It does not contain a payment schedule and penalties. 2nd. The title appears to have passed clear to your son without a lien. If I were in your position, I would tell my son he is an idiot and that grandma is a thief. Further, I would advise him to wait the old bat out. She may die before it occurs to her enough time has passed the court might issue a judgment and garnishment against junior.
