What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA

I was once a part of a 5 member Hip Hop group that was recently disbanded because 2 of the members (married couple) decided they no longer wanted to be a part of that group and decided to form their own. The group had been together for a little over a year and had many projects done under the group name. Some still incomplete.

The remaining 3 members are still interested in continuing without them but the music is being held hostage by one of the departing members who was the engineer. All of the music was copyrighted by another member, a continuing member of the group. I just wanted to know if the 3 remaining members would hold any grounds in court if it becomes necessary to take it there.

We've already made it very clear that if any of the music was to generate any revenue we would have no problem sharing the gold.
