I have been going out with this man for 4+ yrs. We have been engaged for 2yrs. We now live together for 1 yr. I moved to South Carolina from out of state 1yr ago to be with him. I left my kids, job, family and friends. We had talked about getting married when all of our children were here this last summer, but it never happened. My fiance' did not deal well with all of the children being here (3 total - one was his, two mine). He has no patience and is not very understanding.
Last year at Christmas time we were in the process of buying a house. We had to put it in just his name because we were not married and since he wanted to get a VA loan the military laws prohibit both of our names being on the loan. At Christmas time he did not get me any gifts, but instead told everyone that he got me a house that was my present - for Christmas, Birthday and pretty much every special day for quite awhile. He did not get me anything for my birthday - same reason. My daughter has since moved to South Carolina to live with us and has been enrolled in school and is getting herself reestablished in the area. My fiance' when he gets mad at me keeps threatening to sell the house or kick me out. I have asked him to go through couseling and try to deal with all of the changes and such that we have been through but he refuses.
He will now be leaving the country for 4 months for the military and I am afraid that before he leaves he will try to sell the house or kick me out. What can I do???? Do I have any legal rights to this house that is in his name and he has told everyone that he got me a house for Christmas and such??? If it were just me I would move out, but since my daughter now lives there I hate the thought of bouncing her around and upsetting her life again because he can't deal with everyday stresses. My daughter and I have given up so much already and I am tired of having to start over.

guidance is all I can give

As far as the issue with the house im not sure.. but as far as the other situation regarding your children and your man.... you know deep down in your heart what you should do for your sake and your childrens. This man could possibly become physically abusive.
