And you're not changing our minds. So I guess you should go away. What weak watery arguments you give.

I should go away? Am I on your stupid site? You and Fagetit really need some normal lives.

You spend every ounce of energy defending your right to drink and drive,.........I find that sadly insane.

Gee! You couldn't help cancer patients?

Oh, so in your insane brain your now changing the conversation from driving after drinking to drinking WHILE driving? And by the way, in some states it IS still legal to drink WHILE driving.

As I recall, you changed the conversation, not me. Have another drink.

Let's hear an outside opinion

I chose to past and cut into word as I read the 'inaneness'(so not a word)

'Is that you or the Jim Beam talking ???'

Blech!! Burboun whiskey is too sweet.

'often unaware of local police practices'

are you kidding me!?!?! That’s the problem with it all. Has it EVER occurred to your uninhibited mind that policemen/women are just like you and I?

i.e.,

>>>>“Hi officer blah blah blah.”

“Hi there. You had anything to drink tonight? Can I see your license and registration?”

“Here you go, sir. ma’am. Yeah, I had 2 drinks earlier with a client at the bar….blah blah…”

“Have a good night.”<<<<

'He STILL could have called a cab'

LOL. Yup…he could have, but this is your issue, not his, now don’t we speak the truth? My pop has always told me to visualize my own problems, and not replace them with others known….

In the words of Janice…

“La da di, la da di di, la da da da da da da, la da di da di da di Bobby ma-geeee, yeah… la di da di, la di dy dy, la da da dah da, la dah da da da da day yah ….” y’all know the rest.

Christ this place never changes.

and one more thing

>>>>in some states it IS still legal to drink WHILE driving.>>>>

NAME ONE STATE WHERE IT IS OKAY TO DRINK AND DRIVE.

stupid.

"Oh, I just wait till I get to stop sign, then I take a sip" Hahahahaha. Dumb ass.

Name one state.

With all the legitimate causes to fight for in this world, it seems a pity that anyone would be stupid enough to fight for the right to drive while intoxicated, and to furthermore claim that there is any constitutional ground to do so.

If the constitution says you can drive drunk, I'm pretty sure it says I can cut your hair with a meat cleaver while I'm intoxicated, too.

You know this thread started out where a guy was asking legal advice about how to fight his DUI and suddenly AHA jumped in with a story about her drunken husband VOLUNTARILY jumping in a car with his drunken buddy and ALLOWING him to drive DUI. And suddenly the thread went to hell in a hand basket.

AHA, send your husband to AA. Looks like he needs it.

De-NIAL is not just a river in Egypt.

Hmmm, I haven't seen anyone fighting for the right to drive while intoxicated. Nor have I seen anyone claim that there is any constitutional ground to do so.

I think you've been smokin' a little too much of that whacky-tobacky. Perhaps you should lay off for awhile. Lay of the LSD too because it's making you see things that aren't there.

And so what kind of legal advice was AHA offering when she jumped in about her husband the drunk, voluntarily jumping into a car with his buddy the drunk and allowing him to drive DUI?

That had absolutely NOTHING to do with the original post.
