I was driving through my home town recently and I was followed from my local grocery store, out onto the road, through the next turn and down to another light in my small town. The police officer was tail gating me the whole way and I was the first car at the upcoming red light. I turned on my left blinker and when the light turned green I rolled forward a little and the police officer got right up behind me, do to another car stopping in the road I was going to turn down I had to turn as the light turned yellow. I drive an 83 Trans-Am and my tires which I had just filled and were wet from being washed, accidentily squeeled adn the police officer followed me through the light and pulled me over. At first he said I was being cited for sqeeling and peeling, but after I explained the tire situation, he then said I also ran the red. I did not run the light and think that this only happened because I am seventeen and drive a black sports car. Is there anything I can do?
I had a speeding ticket a year ago and in my state two moving vioaltions will result in a loss of license. I am alrighty strapped for money because of paying for the private school I go to, I can not afford a lawyer. Can anyone help?

It will be your word against his, and the judge will believe him.

Well I guess its good to know that police officers can do whatever they want to fulfill their childish envies and quotas and their is nothing the average citizen can do about it.

Yes, my friend, you are absolutely right. The police are no longer pulling over DWB (driving while black) so that only leaves DYWBHs (driving young wearing baseball hats). I see it every day. It's as if they get a commission! What you have to do is get a vehicle (your father's car - LOL) that doesn't stand out. Besides, how much do you pay in insurance for that baby?
