What is the name of your state? Colorado

Hello,

I am being harassed by neighbor and am wondering if I have any recourse within the law to turn to. I‘m going to give a severely condensed version but on four separate occasions in the summer my neighbor (a school teacher) threw trash and salvage in my yard. I tried to talk to her but she wouldn’t answer the door. Ultimately my landlord put a fence up. The fence however stops about 15 feet away from the sidewalk, and now what separates my driveway from hers is railroad ties.

She resents the fence and is now moving the railroad ties and misaligning them. She is also depositing trash at the end of my driveway but on her property and leaving it there next to the railroad ties. When it snows she shovels the snow in front of my driveway. Is this against the law? Is it against the law to tamper with someone else’s property?

Ignoring her behavior has not worked, I have never retaliated in any fashion because I know that’s what she wants and it would be wrong. Nevertheless she keeps on trying to provoke me. Given her character I know mediation would not work and the trouble will continue.

I would like to know if what she is doing is criminal and if I have any protection under the law.

Snow removal in Colorado is sometimes governed by city ordinances. If you live in a municipality, call the offices of the city and ask if there are any snow removal ordinances. If so, get copies of them.

If you're saying she is littering, then call the cops.

And this neighbor of yours is a school teacher!?!

If I were you, I'd ask her whether she even has proof
of doing that profession if she acts so stupidly.

It makes one think.............
