I am separated for nine months, but we spend time when she has time,
Last month we got in to a little fight, she called the cops , I got in my car and left ,
Later that night I served with a TRO temporary restraining order, week later we have a court date and her legal aid asked for a new court date, and apparently that was granted by the judge cause I received a call from the court house to notify me that it was rescheduled for three weeks later, this Wednesday is the court date, I haven’t seen my kid for a month,, is this fair? Is this justice ? please help me I think my rights have been abused and in nice way I need to tell this to the judge.
Thanks

My response:

As long as the TRO is in effect, yes it's fair. It's the only way to keep you away from her; and, if seeing your kids in the interim would cause you to violate the TRO, then you can't see the kids until after the hearing. Then, permanent orders will be made, and within those orders will be orders and instructions for your visitation rights.

So, be patient.
