we live in iowa and have a court order that states that my ex wife is to carry primary insurance on the kids and i carry a secondary i have just found out that she is only using mine and there is no record of here having insurance is there anything i can do to her for braking this court order and stop her from using my insurance without cancling all together?

Wow ! You must really hate her. Let's anihilate her. Let's crucify her. Let's draw and quarter her !

But, if you want to spend the money, and knowing that the law is the law, and an Order of the court is to be obeyed, then you certainly are within your rights to take her back into court for an "Order to Show Cause Re: Contempt of Court".

Do not cancel your own insurance because doing so would also be a violation of the court order, subjecting yourself to contempt proceedings.
