What is the name of your state? Wisconsin
:) I filed Ch7 bk pro se on 6/13. Now, I have two questions.
1. I provided proof of bk to my payroll dept in order to stop a garnishment. I read in the FAQs on this site that if any creditor has garnished more than $600 in the 90 days before filing, I may be able to get reimbursed. How is that accomplished?

2. Located the format for starting adversarial proceedings to request determination of dischargeability on taxes (separate one for student loan re. hardship also located). Since I absolutely can't afford counsel, do any of our friendlies on here know the procedure? I have the complaint form (in which I cite my case, basically) and the cover sheet for our state/district. If I am not mistaken, it appears to be my responsibility to prepare copiesfor the creditors, and then have an independent party send them out and send in proof of service to the court. Am I missing anything critical?

Thanks and I will be checking for replies. Please, no flamers? :o

For them to be garnishing wages there is probably a judgment. The bankruptcy alone isn't enough. You need to have the judgment vacated, then the amount the judgment was for will go away.
