I am in California, trying to be sued by someone in Canada for internet fraud, an item was bought by auction from me that was mint in the box, when it got to her, she is claiming it is broke, she asked me for money back 5 days prior to receiving the item, for her customs fees and now is asking thousands of dollars back for a hundred dollar item? What do you recommend?

CAn you get this decided using the dispute resolution service the web site endorses? If not, defend yourself. There may not be jusrisdiction in CAnada to sue you, bu tif there is, you've got to defend. Also, in Canada I think the rule is the loser pays the winner's attorneys fees. So if you defend and win, she's pay your fees. Ask help from the website -- maybe it has a suggestion -- and if not ask a Canadian lawyer.
