What am I to do If after not hearing from my10 year old child's father for 9 years, he decides to take me to court by saying that i took the child out of the country and hid him from him (to excuse himself for not paying any child support), and ALL that time he KNEW exactly where I lived? Will i need a lawyer to help me in this matter? How can I get to speak personally to someone for some leagal advice on this matter?? Can I take him to court and claim all that back child support money he owes me? Please help me, I need imediate answers to these questions and many more!!

Well, did you take the child out of the country without permission from the father or courts? Are there existing custody/visitation and CS orders in place? Do you have proof that he was aware of where you lived?

can you prove that he knew where you were? maybe there is someone who knows that he knew. you do need a lawyer for this, don't go it alone, you'll get screwed if you do. if you can prove that than yes, you have the right to go after him for back child support. i hoped that helped :)
