What is the name of your state? arizona

DH called today to say that his company overpaid him wages (hourly employee) and that they are demanding the pay it back asap.

We are not sure were these over wages are (as we have not seen them) but we want to get it taken care of.

What steps do we need to take?
Thank youWhat is the name of your state?

You can certainly ask for an accounting of how they arrived at the amount of the overpayment.

However, if they legitimately overpaid him then his only option is to arrive at a repayment plan both parties can live with. They do not have to eat the overpayment because it was their mistake, as so many people appear to think.

What steps? Make sure your husband gets an accounting of what was overpaid and when, and pay it.

No need to ASSUME I wasn't going to pay it if we owe it.

The thing is we haven't seen any over payment (his checks have been the same amount for about a year) so that is where we want to know what we needed to do to or request.
