What is the name of your state? NC
I am permanently disabled now and my credit card companies could care less. I'm "judgment proof" and have notified them but the collection calls are endless...so I don't answer the phone anymore. I checked into filing chapter 7 but the fees are more than I can afford, even filing pro se is over $200...I don't have that unless I don't eat! SO! What to Do!? Any great ideas???

Installment Payments

You can make installment payments to the court they will still issue the automatic stay and i think you can take up to 6 months to pay the whole filing fee.
