my son was pulled over for having a person in
back of pickup truck. he was not aware that the kid was jumping up and down. the officer asked for insurance and my son could not find it. the proof was in the glove box. what type of trouble is he in. he is only 16.

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

Well, how many tickets did he get and for what?

As to the insurance, he can get that cleared by showing proof of insurance once he gets to court....that one should be no problem. Freaking out about being stopped combined with his age and thus not finding the proof in the glove box is probably understood by the judge but should be explained, nonetheless.

As to endangerment, check your state code.

To do this: go to state laws at the freeadvice.com homepage, click on state statutes and then your state and go from there. If not there, check your city or county's municipal code by doing a yahoo.com search like this for example: los angeles county municipal code.
