What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? NY

I was flagged over in upstate NY for going 95 in a 65 - I thought I was just keeping up with traffic. Car in front of me was pulled over, too. I have never gotten a speeding ticket and would never intientionally drive that fast - I thought I was going maybe 75. A state trooper with a radar was on the left side of the road while two other troopers were flagging people over on the right, and had a few people already pulled over, assembly line style. I waited for the trooper to finish with another car and he came over, asked if I knew speed limit, how fast I thought I was going, and if I ever had gotten a speeding ticket before - I answered yes (65), about 75 mph and no, respectively. He didn't say anything else and went back to his car and wrote out the ticket and told me to send it in by a certain date (1 week from today).
Please advise - I don't think I was going that fast and am very nervous about the fine and points and insurance effects (currently I am on my parents' insurance as not a primary driver).

I'm quite obedient, especially when something is written down. At a gas station, I once started cleaning the restroom, like the sign said; "clean restrooms".

Hmmm. So much for your obedient phase, huh

I would get a hold of a traffic lawyer to take care of this for you. It doesn't sound like you have a leg to stand on. Keepiing up with traffic is not a defense. See if the lawyer can get this reduced to a non moving violation. Expect to pay the lawyer and a pretty good fine.
