hi guys, if the i,m,e dc says i need surgery in is report, my doc says yes i need surgery, i go to the neurosurgen for consultation and he wil give his opionion,and if the neurosugen says no i dont think its nessesary to have surgery then what happens now if some say yes who in fact are neurologist, and a physical pain management doc, and the i,m,e doc who is there own doc, says yes to surgery, and the guy who is actually the surgeon guy would the insurace company listen to the neurosurgen ,and agree with what he says or do they listen to what the other 3 docs say, i dont get it?
it seems like all docs give there own opinion.on what they feel, i was told if i dont get the surgery on my neck comp will stop my checks is this true, ?
but i was also told if an operation that consists of a life or death situation as dangerous as this one is touching the spine is a dangerous operation,that i dont have to be made to get surgery, but i dont want the comp to stop my checks if i refuse, i am sooo stuck in the middle of everyones opionions.
yes i,m in pain,some days worse than others, but i am more worried about if i will get worse as i get older, i am 47 now, what happens at 57 and 67 and 77 if the discs would not get worse than that would be good, but who knows
my lawyer says i will have medical for life how does she know that, i thought when an award is offered you close everthing up, what is this medical for life thing, she is talking about, maybe she is trying to say i will never get well with the two large herniated discs , sooo many questios and not enough anwses i will go see the neuro surgen in january i have to take my e,m,g report and my m,r,i report so he can see it.
