What is the name of your state? Ohio
Friends going to file a no asset ch #7 Someone owes him 3600.00 He has an I O U. Says he'll never see the money. Does he have to claim this as an asset?? What happens if he doesn't? Is there some sort of waiver he can get for this?? What happens if he shuts up and they find out he didn't claim it??
thanx

Worse case, he doesn't list it as an asset, he could get the bk discharged revoked.
I'd disclose it and let the Trustee send a few letters. Maybe he/she'll have better luck.
Prior to filing, he ought to send a demand letter {send it CRRR} just to show an effort was made to collect.
