What is the name of your state? Missouri

My mother and I were listed on the deed of our home since I was single at the time. I remarried and did not do a credit check, my husband came with some pretty poor debt and forced us into bankrupt. My name was taken off the home equity loan and my mothers remained. Now my mother has had two stokes and it does not look good for her. What happens to the home equity loan?

PS: My mother took vioxx for 2 years until they took it off the market, go figure!

Keep paying on the note and make sure your name is on title. You should be ok. It won't be necessary to refinance unless the lender calls the note due.
