What is the name of your state? ca..Can you get a home equity loan without paying off your house with the company you get it from. Can you have the home equity loan and still pay your mortgage every month. And can you pay off a portion of what you owe on your house and still get a home equity loan. Sorry if I sound dumb, I am very new to this.
