What is the name of your state? OH

My chapter 7 bankruptcy was discharged in June of this year. My live in partner would like to add my name to the deed of our home. We don't want to do anything that might complicate my bankruptcy. Is there a specific time period in which this would have no bearing on it?

Your bankruptcy is over if it was discharged in June. I doubt adding your name to her deed would be a problem..as long as YOUR debt problems are over.

Thanks for responding Ladynred. I was under the impression that for a period of time after a bankruptcy was discharged any assets that I might acquire could be used to repay some of my debts.
