What is the name of your state?, Michigan

His home is in foreclosure. He has a 4 year old son. His wife committed suicide 1 month after she bought the home on a no doc. mortgage. The home was soley in her name. He has been making payment but the home is now in foreclosure. My question is this, due to the son, and also horses that must be moved, how long after the "notice" of foreclosure does he have before he has to be out of the house. He can't afford to stay.

What is the statute number on the papers he got? Post that.

Generally (and this is a very general answer) the person can stay there till the day of the sale.

**A: generally, it is up to the court and the foreclosure Trustee.

Should we let the mortage company know our situation. It will go into foreclosure March 15. Does he have to be out by that date?
