What is the name of your state? TN
Spouse walked out on all bills about 2 years ago..refused to help pay any mortage payments..I almost lost the house, but used credit cards to pay 6 months of payments..Now my spouse wants the house sold on 50% of the equity.. What is the law on this..can they get 50% even though they only lived in the house 8 months and split? What is the name of your state?

And if his name is on the credit cards, he'd still be sharing in the payments, since that is how you made the mortgage payments. The money put on the cards will still need to be paid.
