What is the name of your state? Irrelevant

Didn't see more appropriate forum to post this in.

Assume a person that lives in usa buys two new luxury vehicle(takes out a loan at dealership) Max's out credit card by buying furniture etc and then moves to a foreign country forever.

Will the credit card company. bank etc just write it off as bad debt expense?

Just wondering what happens in this type of situations.

Depends on the country. If he moved to the middle east, I expect the threat of cutting off one of his hands might be motivation to pay.
