I am a F1 currently out of status and my visa is now also expired. Can I reinstate here in the US without ever having to leave? My spouse who is a LPR filed an I130 for me that just got approved and I know I will need to be in some status to be able to file an adjustment when the case is current with NVC. So what can I do to get reinstated without leaving - as leaving the US is NOT an option at all.
