How do you find a will?

What is the name of your state? Illinois
I'm assuming that Canadian law is very similar to American law. I have an uncle who passed away and lived in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Noone knows what lawyer he made his will with. How do I find his will in Toronto?

Also, it is believed that he also owned property and maybe even had a bank account and also a will in Europe. How would find his property, bank account and/or will in Europe?

We do US law only; but I suspect the answers in Canada and Europe both are to go to where the wills are filed when someone dies.
