How do you know if there is a warrant out?

We are in CA.

About 14 years ago my husband was driving from TX to OR and got a speeding ticket in UT. An hour later, he got a second speeding ticket. This time they took him to jail. He posted bail and continued his drive to OR. He never showed up to the court like we assume he was suppose to. He assumes since the bail was higher than his ticket, he is fine. I'm a bit of a rule follower and am paranoid that this can bite us in the bum when we least expect it.

In the 10 years I've known him he has been pulled over twice (once in OR once in CA), ticketed once (illegal tinted windows). Nothing has ever been said.

I would like to get this taken care of if there is anything we can do or need to do. But at the same time, I don't want my husband thrown in jail or something over this. Is there anyway to find out without setting ourself up for potential trouble?

Call the Utah DMV and ask them if there is a warrant.

What potential consequences are there on this? Would they provide this info to a spouse, to someone annonymously, or just to him?
