What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

when you previously had an attorney of record? My final divorce was through NY Supreme Court (divorce attorney - no longer use him) and Family Court proceedings in NYS with attorney 2 - I can no longer afford to use him. I think I may have to go back to court but I can't pay off old balance with lawyer 2 completely right now. Is there something I can file to be considered 'pro se' or am I obligated to remain with attorney 2 from here on?

You can terminate your attorney and represent yourself.
