What is the name of your state? OH
My friend is here in the US on a H1B visa. He has purchased a home here. He is divorced and his children (only one is a minor, the other will legally be an adult in 2005) live in the UK. He no longer owns any property in the UK. He did have a will when he was married but is not sure if it is still valid post divorce. If he makes out a will here in the US would it be legally binding? If he still had a valid will in the UK what happens? He was asking me these questions and I have no idea what to tell him.

Yes.

If he still had a valid will in the UK what happens?

Absent any newer will, it will be probated in the county where he died here in the U.S.
