I have lived in Florida all my life and plan to stay. However I was on vacation in CA and got a ticket for littering and open container while in Hollywood. I never paid the fines. I got several warnings from the county of Los Angeles followed by something stating that they were issuing a warrant for my arrest. This happened 7 years ago.

I have since been pulled over, in Florida, with no mention of this incident. I have also gotten a job that required a thourough criminal background search which obviously came back clean.

My question for you CA lawyers is how can I find out the current status of these warants if they even exist. And what is the Statute of Limitations. I dont want to think if I ignore it, it will go away, But it has been working for me so far.

Thanks for any info.
