What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IN

Can maternal grandparents (my husband and his ex) and the spouse of maternal grandfather (me) adopt his grandson? He has basically been living with us since he was born. Except for one year in foster care.

Parental rights are being terminated involuntarily.

A child only has two parents. It is unlikely that they will allow your husband and his ex to adopt the child - your husband and you is more likely.

um...no.

you and grandpa can adopt.

i'm thinking maternal grandma can't adopt WITH grandpa since she and grandpa are no longer in a legal relationship.

it's you and grandpa or grandma and her current husband.

but since the child lives in the home of grandpa and spouse, they should adopt with giving grandma lots of ample visitation.

if social services are involved, it's best you speak to the social worker.
