Show up to the police station and ask if you have an outstanding warrant. If you don't, there's nothing to worry about. If you do, you'll get to take care of it immediately.
That was not sarcasm. That's the exact same advice I'd give my kids if they asked the same question. It builds character when you face a problem head on instead of trying to find out the answer on the sly. It also teaches you to avoid trouble in the future (hopefully).
