What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
I was involved in an accident in which a person was killed. I had a court appointed attorney who worked out a plea agreement. I was then informed by DMV that from the result of the plea agreement in which I had to plead guilty, there was a manditory revocation of license for 3 years. Since I was not made aware of that at the time I made my plea, I was able to withdraw the plea. After going to trial I was found innocent. However after going to the DMV they are still saying my license is revoked til 2012, due to the first plea agreement. The paperwork I showed them from the court didnt help. They told me they must hear directly from the court. What do I need to do to make things right?
