virginia. my ex-husband has failed to send me my spousal support for the past four years. he works in saudi arabia, lives in bahrain (no he is not military and yes he is an american.) i feel that if i can only get the courts to serve him the show cause summons and initiate that legal process he will comply--i was married to him for 16 years and know his ways--he can't stand to file taxes a day late or do anything that he percieves will bring him trouble.
my ex is due to be in the country for a week this month to
visit his children and relatives. i have informed the court of this and filed the appropriate show cause papers.
is there anything i can do to help be sure he gets served.
i am living in a homeless shelter--it's outrageous that this man who makes 6 figures is getting away with this because no
legal aid will help me. my ex currently owes me $45,000. sorry so long.
