I was recently terminated (at will employee) and have asked HR for some documents about this. What are they required to send me?

- All annual reviews - they sent this
- Organizational chart - did not send
- Employee handbook - I was told to access this online through company intranet (obviously can't access this)
- Existing job description - I was given one created 12 years ago for a different division within company. Had nothing to do with my job
- 4 documents (email chains or report submissions) related to alleged performance issues I disagreed with - did not send

Thanks,
Jimmy

What is the name of your US state?

In some states, you aren't even entitled to what they sent you.

What good do you think all that stuff will do you?

Whether they are required to send you anything at all is state specific. In MA, you are entitled to anything that is in your personnel file. They are not required to send you handbooks, organizational charts, emails or reports (unless there is already a copy in your personnel file). There is no requirement that they even HAVE an up to date job description.

Now, I'm curious. Who asked you to gather these documents and for what purpose?
