What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Maryland

I recently brought my first house and it located in a wonderful little charming town. Most of the neighbors are very friendly, and for the most part they take pride in living there. At least that is how it was the first 2 weeks of me living there.
We live in a small townhouse community of 38 town homes. Most of us own our houses. One town home has a family that lives in it, which they are rent. They are renting the property through Section 8 HUD homes. Don’t get me wrong I do not object to that, however they are REALLY bringing down our proprieties and disrespecting us all, they have a lot of traffic coming in and out of the house all house of the night. They cuss extremely loud, sometimes shouting it.

They play loud music all hours of the night, let off firecrackers, and get drunk out in public all the time. Some of them threaten the neighbors and say racial slurs (whitie, etc.) Some people are scared, for the most part we are angry and fed up. We have had several HOA meetings, contacted the police, and wrote letters to the owner of the property still nothing. This has been going on for 2 years. We have had 4 families move out of the area due to this one disrespectful family.
I even had my daughter threaten by one of the girls that live there.
Recently, I joined the Board of the HOA Association. We have tried everything it’s not fair we have to put up with this and it effect us daily and nothing is getting done about it, the police are there at least 2-3 times a week.

Legally is there ANYTHING WE CAN DO????

Welcome to the wonderful world of Section 8 tenants which is Russian Roulette for landlords 6 chambers 51/2 bullets...

Report it to Section 8 and send tenants notice to quit disturbing the peace and causing a nuisance to others or you will give notice for them to leave, is there not a clause in your lease about disturbing others or causing a nuisance?

If you evict them be prepared to spend a lot of time in Home Depot.
