My husband's X and her mother went to court and behind my husband back changed custody from the X to the grandmother. Although no paperwork was submitted to him, he accepted it and moved on.

The constant fights with the X and grandmother just to see his son was unbearable to the point he stopped seeing his son.

Now it has been 6 years and this past march my stepson turned 12 yrs old. My husband decided in March to see his son and has been seeing him since then.

My stepson understands why my husband has missed out on so much for 6 years. I finally got the chance to introduce him to his little sister and he was overjoyed! He got to spend weekends over our house and things were going great until his grandmother felt he was spending too much time with his father.

Now the grandmother has reduced my husband visitation to every other weekend! And the X and grandmother stated that if she's not happy she can cut all visitation.

My question is can he fight for his visitation rights? and can he have his X pay child support to since her mother has custody?

yes he can fight for visitation, even possibly custody

the grandmother would have to request support from the daughter, but dad may want to let cs know that mom no longer has custody of child he is paying support for
