Hi,
My brother got his GC through his biological mother's second husband. It's approaching the second anniversary of my brother's conditional GC. The problem is, form I-751 doesn't seem to have the correct option for him. One option is for the actual spouse who got the GC through marriage, and the other options is for a child who couldn't file on the same form as a parent removing the conditions. Problems is, neither applies to my brother. His mother has had a GC for years, through another avenue, so it's not conditional. And obviously my brother is not the spouse of his step father. So, I don't know how to proceed, or who even should sign the form, in the space it has "You". My brother that is removing conditions, or his mother that is still married to the USC that applied for the conditional GC for my brother?
Thank you!
