What is the name of your state?Tennessee
This is a suggestion from a good friend and I don't know if it will work.
(this is pertaining to moving a child out of state, in my other post)
If I ask my ex to sign a paper that gives me permission to go ahead and register my daughter for school in Georgia, can we move without him re-canting later on?
I would also state how visitation would go. I'd meet him at a new location (not the one we have now). My drive would be much farther than his, but at this point I'm willing to do what I can to make this work.
What do you think?

why would he want to sign any "paper" saying you can enroll your kid in a georgia school, if you think he won't let you move to Georgia?

You cannot legally change visitation without getting a NEW court order. Any agreement made outside of court is worthless IN the court. You have to go through the proper legal channels, period.

you should really keep your posts together, makes it less confusing for the rest of us.

He told me that he does not oppose us moving.
His only concerns were meeting times on Friday evenings and insurance.
According to our current parenting plan, he has to provide insurance until she's 18. He has Blue Cross Blue Shield, and they have network providers in the area that we are moving to.
Thank you for telling me about agreements outside of court. We would like to move as soon as possible. I don't want to do anything to get myself in any trouble! I would like to try anything I can possibly do to get moved more quickly, but it is going to take time!
