What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin
In advance im sorry for the lengthy post I have a extremely hard time with summarizing when it comes to stuff like thus or books and having it understandable. And I thank you for your time, thank you!
I worked for a small family ran distribution center and when I first started I banked good good money for the first two months with how they paid their employees overtime. I worked for this place from Oct of 2015 to May of this year 2017. After those first two wee overtime stopped. No worries its winter. Through out the winter everytime I got paid and lokked at pay stub something didnt seem right but the feeling i had was/is to small to pinpoint. Now its spring works picking up getting more hours. But according to my paystub I only thought i was working more hours for my winters hourly average wasnt raising. Summer hits (from the beginning the employers days and start and ending times are: Sun-Sat but worked Mon-Thurs. And can be called in to work Fri-Sun which it became quite normal for me to get called in for them days. Sometimes one day others could be all three days. My scheduled work hours are 2:00p.m. to an everyday unknown ending time. One week I worked just six hours in one day and the very next day i pulled a solid 20 hours minus two 30 minute breaks. Theyre my employer so i went where needed was not uncommon to work and see the asoects of a fully working farm and the same in the same day for the warehouse that i was originally hired for. The company is a farm growing potatoes and produce and attached to the farm is their distribution center selling everything a restaurant could need. Literally everything. They had hospital grade cleaners to all kinds of produce meats and frozen items and are permitted to sell to institutions and prisons they can sell and deliver to anyone no matter the type of business the customer may be in. Anyway its now summer and my hours are fluctuating between 20-35 hours 38 would be the closest i got to a full 40 all the way to when my employment ended with them this last may of 2017 (with mon-thurs regular scheduled days we were still fulltime for 40 hours a week) through out the time of being there i tried my best to take copies of my timecard but I couldnt remeber to do it at the end of the week more then most of the time. Probably have 3/4 of my pay stubs but if I ask them for a copy of my paystubs do they have to give them to me also if i asked for copies of my timecards, timecards are the tradional way of picking off wall and hitting the stamp buttons and if i cant get that information how else could i go about getting it? I walk around with empty pockets more then full ones so im trying to stay away from lawyers and courts as long as i can if possible.
