So today I received a letter from my STBX attorney and in it she states that I, "continually in chat rooms seeking legal advice and information including providing a lot of personal information with regard to the court proceedings. Kindly have him refrain from such venting..."

What do you think?

I guess I must be getting some good advice in these chat rooms to have this paragraph in a letter addressed to me.

As others have said, she can ask for anything. You have a first amendment right. Unless there is a gag order on the procedings, you are allowed to talk about your life. Unless it falls into an area of unprotected speech (think obscenity, libel, slander) she cannot stop you.
Also on the internet, she would have to PROVE that it was you. You have said nothing that I can recall that is harmful or malicious about your STBX.

BayStateGirl, thanks for the telephone conversations. I really enjoyed it. Sorry that my battery died in the middle though. But like you said, and everyone else I have told this story too has said, she really is an aunt (DC)

Okay so I lost again today. BUT on the positive side, I did a great job. As you know, the courts in MA most always side with the STBX when they are female. So it was sort of like pounding sand. BUT again, I feel confident about the way I handled everything, and I told the whole truth again. If nothing else, I have been 100% honest through this whole process, and although I have come out of the losing side of lies, I am happy with myself, because I know that I am a better person.

As far as my first admendment rights, yes, I do have them. But I have to ask...I put down DC thinking that it meant devious, or more to the point d-bag. Her attorney remarked that it meant something much more "grave".

PLUS, I met this beautiful Real Estate attorney who agrees that the system is messed up..."you can't rationalize with irrational people." Anyway...we are going out this Friday night! But just to talk about business, otherwise it would be considered adultery!
