This question is for a home in VA. I bought a home with my girlfriend several years ago. We split up and I moved out in April '00. She is currently residing there and refuses to sell the property. We are both on the deed and the mortgage. I have perfect credit and she has terrible credit. She did not pay the mortgage for 4 months to spite me and nearly had the home forclosed. Can I file some sort of partition suit against her and can I sue her for damaging my credit intentionally.
